Dear friend,
Amy and I have many worries and concerns these days. As they come back to wake us up in the morning we continually give them to the Lord through prayer. We have what many call 1st world problems, pesky car issues that won’t get fixed no matter how many times mechanics work on it, rising prices, too many projects started that are demanding our time, home repairs, misunderstandings and funerals in our church family…etc. Our prayers go up for all that and also for Ukraine and Russia, countries at war fearing for their lives and losing loved ones to bombs and bullets.
God knows and cares more than us about these things. He has a good plan for us, and wants us all to come to know and trust Him. May our trials move us toward the Lord Jesus.
2 Cor 4:16 “Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
